Basis For Theme Support

It is our goal to offer theme-related support in a timely efficient manner. It is in good faith that we offer a level of complimentary theme support with every sale. That being said, please understand that we are not required to offer theme support, neither is this specifically included by the purchasing of our theme.

Where to Receive Support

We only offer theme-related support via the website in which you have purchased the theme from, whether it be ThemeForest or Mojo-Themes. We will not provide any theme support via direct e-mail, Twitter, or Facebook.

ThemeForest Users

If you have purchased one of our theme through ThemeForest, there are two ways to receive customer support. With both of these methods, you absolutely must be logged into the ThemeForest account in which you've purchased the theme from. No exceptions.

  • Method 1: Navigate to the item details page for the item you've purchased, click the "Comments" tab, and post your question.
  • Method 2: Contact us privately through the contact form on our profile page.

Mojo-Themes Users:

If you have purchased one of our theme through Mojo-Themes, there is one way to receive customer support. With this method, you absolutely must be logged into the Mojo-Themes account in which you've purchased the theme from. No exceptions.

  • Method 1: Navigate to the item details page for the item you've purchased, click the "Comments" tab, and post your question.

Note: If you'd like to contact us privately to share a link or your WordPress login info, that's fine. You can do so through our profile page, however you must make contact with us first as outlined above through the public comments. This is because Mojo-Themes does not confirm for us that a user has purchased a theme when we receive a private message.

Theme Support Defined

We only offer support for our themes, features and functionality unique to our themes (beyond that of WordPress). Please note that we cannot assist with general WordPress support or help with theme modifications and customizations in any capacity within our complimentary theme support.

With that said, we will NOT provide help with the following items:

  • Third-party plugins
  • WordPress Support & How-To's (Use wordpress.org forums for that)
  • Extending Default Theme Features
  • Theme Modifications and Customizations
  • Issues that unique to your web hosting or server environment.

Support Tips

Here are some tips to get the most efficient and timely support.

Make sure and check your theme's documentation.

It is obvious to us when people ask quick questions without reviewing the documentation that has come with the theme. We spend a lot of time creating video tutorials and laying out a detailed documentation file to provide to buyers with the purchase of our WordPress themes. Please review this file before asking questions that are covered in your documentation.

Provide relevant information.

Please use some common sense when asking for our help. Providing us with as much relevant information as possible regarding your issue. This will help both us and you to make the most of our time. The more time you spend putting thought into your question, the more time we put into helping you, and the quicker you will inevitably receive a solution to your issue.

Provide a link to your site.

If you're asking about an issue specific to your site (which most often is the case), please provide a link to your site so we can view the issue and diagnose the problem. Many people will ask a general question without providing a link and expect for us to cover all possible scenarios, however this just simply is not efficient. If you don't provide a link, we will need to respond by asking you for a link to your site. So, this will delay the overall time in which you inevitably solve your issue.

Make sure question is theme-specific.

If you're asking a general WordPress question, make sure to investigate this with an Internet search and not post this in our free theme support. We understand that many buyers are beginners in working with WordPress, and it is not always clear if your question is theme-specific or not, and that is okay. However if you're asking too many questions that are not theme-specific or it seems you're taking advantage of our free support, you may be abusing support and you may get cut off. So be warned.

Support Abuse

Simply put, do not abuse free theme support.

Remember to take some accountability.

We have always provided timely, free customer support, which remember we are not required to do. This is a courtesy we offer to our buyers, but it is clear that some people abuse this service. Please put time and thought into what you're asking and do not ask every question that comes to mind without trying to find the answer. With building your website around a $35 theme, you can't expect that we will guide you through the entire process. This is just reality of the route you've chosen in building your website.

Do not ask for customizations.

Remember that we do not offer free customizations to our themes. This includes any styling customizations, code customizations, or extending of theme features. Keep in mind that no matter how minor a customization request, if we provide one answer to a buyer and not to another this can be a very slippery slope. So please do not expect us to to provide any customizations. Also, please do not continually try and squeeze whatever you can get out of us for free, or we will stop responding to you.

Don't take advantage of our speedy response times.

It is obvious to us when buyers take advantage of our fast response times and start asking questions back-to-back without taking the time to investigate their issues themselves. When you do this, we will eventually stop responding to your support requests. This can be bad for you if you eventually come across a problem you truly cannot solve. Remember the boy who cried wolf? That applies here. :-)

Theme Customizations

We currently do not provide any customizations or freelance work, paid or un-paid. However, we are currently working on partnerships with third-party sites to refer buyers to for customizations. We will have more information about that here in the future.

Theme Bugs

We will address all theme bugs as quickly as possible once they are brought to our attention. Once we have corrected, tested, and updated our theme files, we will update the "Change Log" found on the item details page for that current product, whether on ThemeForest or Mojo-Themes. You can then head on over to to your download page on that respective website to re-download the new version of the theme files.
